Data Deletion Instructions

At Long Tech Games, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request the deletion of your personal information and any data associated with your account, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1: Send an email to privacy@longtechnology.io with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Step 2: Include the following information so we can verify your identity and locate your data:

Your full name
The email address associated with your account
Your username (if applicable)
A brief description of what data you would like deleted

Step 3: We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours and process the deletion within 30 days.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

Account information (username, email address, password hash)
Gameplay data and game history
Preferences and settings
Any communications or feedback you have submitted

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request, as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Transaction records — financial transaction data may be retained for tax, legal, and auditing purposes as required by Canadian and applicable US law
Legal compliance — data necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
Fraud prevention — limited data may be retained to prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
Anonymized data — aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement

Third-Party Data

If you logged into our Service using a third-party platform (such as Facebook or Google), you may also need to remove the connection from that platform's settings:

Facebook: Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites > Remove
Google: Google Account > Security > Third-party apps with account access > Remove Access

Processing Time

We aim to process all deletion requests within 30 days of verification. In some cases, it may take up to 90 days to fully remove your data from all systems, including backups. We will notify you once the deletion is complete.
